Local Resilience Builders

We’re shining a spotlight on some of the Snohomish County programs and organizations that help children and families build resilience. They are making a lasting difference in young lives.

The Child, Youth & Family Crisis Team

The Child, Youth, and Family Crisis Team offers short-term support to help children and youth through mental health or substance use crises—working to stabilize the situation and connect families with ongoing care.

Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center

At Dawson Place, children who’ve experienced abuse or neglect find safety, support, and healing through comprehensive, trauma-informed, child-centered care.

Latino Educational Training Institute

The Latino Educational Training Institute (LETI) is a vital hub for Latino families in Snohomish County. It fosters resilience and empowers families through education, training, and community-building.

These profiles celebrate the many ways resilience takes root — through caring relationships, welcoming spaces, trauma-informed approaches, and strong community bonds. Big or small, each effort adds to a vibrant network of support across Snohomish County. By lifting up these stories, we hope to spark collaboration, showcase what’s working, and honor the commitment and work of our partners in resilience.

Resilience isn’t all or nothing. It comes in amounts.

And no matter how resilient you are today, you can become more resilient tomorrow.
